- In recent years, Bankside has frequently provided locations for film-makers. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason, Entrapment, Lock, Stock, Two Smoking Barrels and Run Fat Boy Run all used locations in and near Borough Market. And if you’re a fan of the Spooks TV series, you’ll also recognise scenes in and around Bankside.
